for video conferencing, between 2 people or a small group: Is there a meaningful difference in function between Meetnow (ie: the icon in notification area in win10) and the free version of Teams? Does one work better than the other in any important way?
I know that Meetnow can work without installing any software, through chromium browsers.
I tried Meetnow about 7 months ago but found it non functional between me on win10 and two different people using macs. They couldn’t get audio to work, and I wasn’t about to get into trouble shooting on macs.
Is there any reason to think that Meetnow has improved recently?
If I install Teams on my win10 can I invite others to join a video meeting without others installing software on their end? Or logging into MS account? and am I likely to have a better experience using Teams free with someone on a mac than I did with meetnow 7 months ago?
