Dial Up Dialog Box

When Internet Explorer on the desktop is clicked the normal dial-up dialogue box does not appear, the dial up networking default connection has been shifted to the desktop as a short cut, and a double click on this shortcut produces the dialog box, can anybody help restore the default please?

At a first guess, I’d suggest checking your IE settings. For IE6, look in Tools -> Internet Options… and look under the Connections tab. From there, you can check or set up connection options the way you’d like them. HTH.
