      Set up a shortcut to Access on your desktop. Set the properties of the Target by adding /runtime at the end. Drag your database to the icon and watch all the Access capability you are using … disappear!

      I believe there is an article in the MSKB that describes differences in runtime vs. full version of Access. You can probably find it by searching for “Access runtime”.
