I’ve recently noticed that the shortcuts for “Desktop (create shortcut)”, “Clipboard as Contents”, “Any Folder…” etc, are not showing up when I right click on a file and select “Send to”. However, the shortcut files are all there in the C:UsersRobertAppDataRoamingMicrosoftWindowsSendTo folder. The only items in the Send to list are actual application shortcuts, but nothing else. Is it possible that something has been deleted from the registry?

    Thanks

Try this method listed in How To Geek. Most likely this will work for you.

This method describes how to insert a new shortcut into the Send to folder. As I said, the shortcuts are already in the Send to folder. They just don’t show up when I right-click on a filename. All I see are shortcuts to applications.

Robert, try this little trick, after you select / highlight the item you would like to move, while holding down the “shift” key right click on the item and you will see many more options to move to & if you have created new or extra shortcuts this is how they will show up! Here is the link….
