	By Kathleen Atkins Four years ago, in southern California, a retired salesman became acquainted with — and then devotedly befriended by — a goose. Dominic, the retiree, walked every day around the park lake where Mario, the goose, lived. At first, Mario simply followed Dominic around the lake. But as their unusual friendship acquired depth, Mario took to the air, following Dominic as he rode home on his scooter.

Hi: cannot view the video, as apparently “the uploader has not made this video available in your country (Australia)’. Not a big deal and not sure what is the real reason, but thought I would let you know.

The whole incident looks like imprinting, but it is more probably an outgrowth of mating behavior. This guy may have made a “friend for life” (of the goose)!

I also found the BBC report – its a little longer.

Goofy CBS would block a report like this. It’s not about race but rather advertising territory. Other blocks you’ll see, like with Hulu, are based on licensing territory.
