Deleting TIF via DOS (IE5)

I intend to delete the TIF via DOS but a problem presents itself. How do I key in the tilde in DOS?
How are C:WindowsTemporary and C:WindowsTemporary Internet Files distinguished in DOS?
My OS is Win ME.

Why not create a batch file using Notepad and run that? You should be able to enter “~” and any other character you want that way.

This file does all the stuff from dos…shuts down, starts DOS, RUNS AND RE-BOOTS. uSE IT ALL THE TIME

Thanks Rick and Leif.

I took a look at the Langa site but it warns that the Cleanall.bat is specific to Win 9x and that other OS’s will require manual modification. My OS is Win ME and I am not yet sufficiently familiar with its structure to do this.
