I think I picked up this tip from one of Woody’s newsletters. I associated my daughter’s name in the To: box with one of her e-mail addresses that was listed in the contacts by right clicking on the name after it had the red underlining. It has worked great until now.

She no longer uses the e-mail address that I had associated with her. I deleted that e-mail address from the contacts. Somehow her name is still associated with that address! I’m not able to right click and change it because Outlook automatically uses that old address even though it’s not in the contact list.

So my questions is how the %#%% do I change it? Where is this information being stored?

Its stored in a separate place in the registry but can be deleted from Outlook
When you start typing the name you are offered a drop-down autocompletion list.
The blue highlighted name can be removed by pressing DEL

        Andrew,

Thanks. That worked. Another Microsoft feature!
