Delete ‘Remote Name’ from Discussion Web (2000 (Build 4.0.2.4426))

I recently setup a discussion web, that seems to be working. However, when a visitor looks a post, the ‘Remote Name’ of the person making the post appears. This is usually going to be a computer name or IP address.

Is there a way to prevent this piece of useless data from being displayed?

Have you worked with forms before? I ask, so that I know how much detail to give in my reply.

I’ve done minimal work with forms, setting up a guest register for example.
Most of my FrontPage work has been creating basic HTML files.

Ok try this:
Right click in the form area.
Choose Form Properties.
From the Form Properties dialog box, click on the Options button.
Once in the Options dialog box. Choose the Saved Fields tab.
At the bottom you should find a checkbox for Remote Computer Name . Disable it.
