• Delete confirmation & Ctrl+Home (Word2K)

One of the local copies of Word on a client’s computer is exhibiting unusual behavior. They are an old WordPerfect user and do not know what they may have done to make this happen, but I need to get it back to the way Word normally behaves. So:

How can I get Word to not place a Delete Confirmation message (No Yes) in the status bar when a block is highlighted and the Delete key is pressed?

How can I get Word to go to the top of the document when pressing Ctrl+Home, rather than opening the GoTo window?

    TIA

Turning off the Navigation Keys for WordPerfect users option takes care of the problem.

I should have known … This only worked on one of the two computers that displayed the problem.
Does anyone have additional ideas on what could be causing this?
      TIA

Uncheck BOTH Wordperfect references under Tools-Options, General tab.

If that doesn’t work, perhaps someone has re-programmed the ctrl-home keys.

Following your suggestion resolved the problem on the last (I hope) machine.
Thank you for guiding me through the WordPerfect swamp.
