Default Printer (XP)

When I distribute my application to a user machine they get a message to say that the printer set for this report does not exist. Is there a way to save the report to use the default printer rather than a specific printer?
I have now made a new report and copied the objects from the other report and this report does use the default printer – but is there any way to change the printer to the default printer without having to change the report?

Replies

You’ll have to change something, obviously, but you don’t have to create a new report.
– Open the report in design view.
– Select File | Page Setup…
– Activate the Page tab.
– Select the Default printer radio button.
– Click OK.
– Save the design.
– Close the report.
Repeat for each report.

Ahh! Thanks for that. I looked there but didn’t see it – its so much easier to find something when you know what you are looking for.
