Default Folder Layout (Outlook XP)

Hi All.

I usually work with a lot of folders in outlook. At the moment, each time I create a new folder, the ‘from’ column is too narrow and the ‘size’ column is too wide. What I would like to do is have the default folder set up as I would like (from column wider and size column narrower).

Can someone please point me in right direction so that I can change the look of the default folder.

If you incorporate the column widths as part of a new Defined View- View|Define Views – it should “stick”. Thus, when you create a new folder you should be able to get your settings by switching to that (new) Named View. HTH
