Just signed up here, and felt I should at least post a tip. When you open VB 6.0, and you click the Existing Projects tab, isn’t it annoying, that it defaults to a folder within the VB program files? Well, a few weeks ago, I was given a tip on how to change that (because I looked in the registry and everything, to try and change that). It’s a pretty simple answer too. Go to the properties of your VB 6.0 program shortcut, and change the ‘Start In’ option to the folder you want it to have as the default ‘Existing’ folder, and Presto, that’s the folder that will show up by default, when you click the Existing tab.

Okay, let’s call a truce in here. I have enough email coming in from the List about that, to keep me busy for a while!

P.S.– Don’t expect ‘characters’ in my post…seems too much like AOL to me. I’ll stick with your typical emoticons!

OK, who’s on which side. I have my own opinions about bound versus unbound forms in Access, and I’m curious who’s lined up on my side?

            • #612679

Sorry Wendell, we can’t tell you.

You just have to open the can of worms to find out evilgrin

            • #612699

Uh, guys? We’ve jollyroger highjacked this thread pretty thoroughly. Anyone who wants to continue the discussion should start a thread in Access on bound vs unbound forms. Then the fur can fly freely! evilgrin
