Default Date Question (Access 97)

Hi theres probably a really easy answer to this but my brain isnt working at the moment.

I want to insert a default date which is 2 months earlier than the current date. I know that if wanted to add 2 months onto the current date i could use DateAdd but cant work out the equivalent for deducting 2 months.

Hope this makes sense and thanks for any help

Use DateAdd(“m”,-2,date())
