Dead lnk clicking on thread starter’s icon top of page

If I click on a thread starter’s icon at the top of the page in any discussion thread at this site I get a dead link.

It works if I click on the thread starter’s icon IN THE THREAD but that is not my usual behavior here.

I’m not complaiining as I know the software used here is not optimal for forums. I just wanted to report this as perhaps this is easy to fix. The problem happens on Basilisk (default browser), Fx 60.9 ESR, Fx 78.13.0 ESR, Edge 93.0.961.38, Vivaldi 3.6.2165.34. and Brave 1.25.70.
