Date function with concatenation (Access 2000)

My concatenated line using the Date function is not working. Can you help ? I made it this way :
=”from: ” & “” & Date()

In what sense is it not working? Do you get an error message, or an unexpected result, or …?

I do not get an error message but no result either

Although the & “” in the middle is not needed, there is nothing wrong with the expression. Try again, with this control source:

="From: " & Date()

If that doesn’t work either, could you post a stripped down copy of a database that exhibits the problem? See post 401925 for instructions.
