I am currently creating a monitoring list, the formula I used in column C is =EDATE(B2,36), this work fine when there is a date in B2, but its doesn’t work if any cells in col B is blank as its returm the year 31 Dec 1902 in Col C. How can I fix this?

In Column E, I used : =IF((TODAY())<(D5+60),"Not Due Yet !!","contact your client!"), Why is the comment show as ' contact your client' when the date is at 31 Dec 1902? How to fix this to just 2 months prior to the expiry date shown in Col C.

Is there a way to have a date automatically stamp in the Col F after a mail is send for each item under " contact your client"

    Thanks

    cheers, francis

If you are using a macro to send the email, then the macro could insert a date in column F. If you are manually sending the email, then you will have to take some action to put the date into the column. The easiest thing to do would be to select the cell where you want the date and then hold down the Ctrl key and press the semicolon ( key. That will put the current date into the active cell.
