I have a table that I enter dates into and I use the date field as the basis of a query. My date field seems to be storing not only the date mm/dd/yyyy but also the time, which I don’t want. I have the field set to short date. What should I actually be doing to eliminate time from being stored in the field?

I think I just figured out my problem. I had a default value of NOW() rather than DATE() and thus the time was put in.
