I have a table where each row represents an occurence ex. a dose of a medication given. One of the rows represents the date for which it took place.
I have multiple occurences of the same date. I’ve sorted the data by date, but now want to get a handle on how frequently something occured on any given date. Or better yet what is the max and min for the listed dates and the average number of occurences for the whole thing (e.g. min 1, max 12, average is 4 for the whole range)
Any one have any ideas? Or is my question clear as mud?

Have you considered using a Pivot Table? It would allow you to view mins, maxes, counts and averages – among other things.

You might find the Database [eg Daverage(), Dmin() etc] functions useful.
