    Hi,

In my doc footer, I have put a table with no border & used it to put the date, doc number and page number.

I just made a small change & it starts jumping around like crazy!
Have any of you experienced this dancing footer table grid? If so, how did you fix it?

    Thanks,

    m.q.

Is this problem reproducible? Although I have never seen this particular behavior, Word regularly has problems displaying a document correctly on my system. Either scrolling the document back and forth, or closing and reopening the document always restores the display.

If you can reproduce it, can you attach an example to a post, and explain what kind of “small change” you made? The document probably only needs to contain the table in the footer, the body can be empty.

      hello

going thru the forum & noticed this issue (however its probaly a little late).

yes ive experienced this issue. when theres a table in the footer> if you open the doc – or print the document that particular footer section will ‘jump up & down’ – in your words dance.

i didnt find out what was causing this.
created a new section> but to fix I deleted the table in the section> & inserted a new table from scratch.
