    Hi all.
I don’t know what has happened here; all of a sudden my cursor keys are not behaving as they should.
They have always moved the cell selection in the direction of the key. Today they have started scrolling the entire worksheet in the direction of the key and not changing the selected cell.
I have checked the options, and can’t find any reference to the cursor keys.
I’m using a Microsoft natural keyboard and a Logitech cordless optical mouse, but I don’t think it can be a conflict because everything has been OK ’till today.
    Thanks for any suggestions.

    Jim

Sorry folks, just brain dead on a Sunday night with a pile of work to do.

It sounds like your Ctrl key is stuck down, or you have one of those software keyboard enhancers that allows you to “lock” the Ctrl key on. Holding the Ctrl key down will cause the cursor keys to do what you describe.

No…. it was easier than that, I’m afraid.
I had inadvertantly hit the Scroll Lock key sometime. What a goon!
