    I’m back looking for help once again from the Lounge Excel gurus.

    Here’s the problem now: If I have a series of dates (column A) and a series of percentages (column , I want to be able to create a growth formula for any set of dates. The growth formula consists of adding 1 to each percentage in the selection and mulitplying each cell in the selection by the next cell, and then subtracting 1 from the accumulated product. I have attached a file that shows what I mean. I can do what I want now by entering each cell individually. The trick is to create a formula (or perhaps a UDF) that will allow me to just select the cells in a single step.

      The following array formula (confirm with Ctrl+Shift+Enter) does the same as the one you have in C13:

      =PRODUCT(1+B2:B13)-1

      Is that what you want?
