    Greetings,

I would like to use Crosstab Queries/Reports to display snapshots of data for my division chiefs. This is the first time I’ve really used them. I’ve generated reports that the chiefs like.

Alas, when I ran the Crosstab against a new set of data, the data returned was not identical to the previous data. As this was the case, the Report that I had designed around the first Crosstab would not work, as the fields and values had changed.

Is there any way to use a “Template” for a Crosstab that will always work for a particular query…even if some fields change?

I don’t have the time to completely format a new report for every CT query that I run against new data.

    Thanks in advance,
    Bob

There have been several discussions about dynamic column headings for crosstab reports. If you do a search in this forum with keywords “dynamic crosstab” or “crosstab report” (without the quotes), you will find them. See for example post 227580, it has a possible solution and links to other posts with different solutions.
