I am trying to create a link to a news ticker in a PowerPoint presentation so that it runs across the bottom of the screen during a slide show. Is this possible? Failing that, can I insert a link to a web page? It needs to be refreshable, so that it changes automatically when I run the slide show. Thanks in advance to anyone who can help.

You could try Shyam Pillai’s add-in LiveWeb (free).

Or OfficeOne’s add-ins PowerPoint Web Browser Assistant (free) and PowerShow (commercial; you’d need the Ticker Show feature)
