Creating an archive

I have an enormous archive spanning two years. I want to cut it in half. How can I create a new blank archive so that I can take all of the older emails and calendar items from my huge archive and delete them from the huge archive and copy them to the new archive?

Replies

Something like: File, Open, Outlook Data File
Then drag n drop the folders you want.
Make a backup first, of course.

So close: File > New > Outlook Data File
