This problem has been accuring I think since I bought my computer, but just now is it bothering me. Every time I play a song, no matter what media player (e.g., Windows Media Player, Kazaa Media Player, RealPlayer, etc), once it ends the computer starts lagging (majorly slowing up), so that I can’t really do anything until it works ago (about 1.5 minutes). But it happens everytime, but only when I am playing one song at a time. For example, if I have a playlist with 3 songs, they will all play smoothly until the last song. Or if I’m playing 1 song, and before it ends, I start playing another song, it will be fine until that song ends. But always, the last song I play, once it ends, the computer will lag. And it is making me mad. If anyone knows a solution, please tell me.

Have you looked at the task manager to see what is using the CPU?

After playing like 5 songs thru Kazaa Media Player which I am pretty sure uses Windows Media Player to play it’s songs. I changed the hardware excellerator to a lesser amount, and the computer doesnt freeze anymore after the song ends.
