Just ran a system file check and came up with 8 possibly corrupt files. They are the following dll’s- cryptext, cryptnet, cryptui, mscat32, msoss, mssign32, mssip32, softpub. Checked them out on MS web dll area and version numbers, dates, sizes check out OK. They all seem to have something to do with something called MS Trust?? I haven’t changed anything yet, and checking my log, I noticed I ignored them first on a sfc run on 5/8/01. I haven’t noticed any problems or errors relating to these files specifically.

If anyone is familiar with this situation in general, or these files in particular- should I do anything about this?

    Thanks, Dave
