    Hey!

I have a series of cells which contain array formulas. What do I need to do to copy the VALUES and not the formulas when I depress CTRL + C?

    Thanks !

When the range is copied goto Edit, Paste Special and select Values

That should get tghe desired effect

There is a Paste Special/Values button via the Tools Menu, Customise/Commands/Edit, worth dragging onto a toolbar if you do a lot of pasting Values Only.

Can you suggest a way to just copy just links?

I’ve created a customer spreadsheet that I’ve used to link to a recap spreadsheet. There are numerous links on a few dozen worksheets. The recap spreadsheet will be to compare each of 4 different customers. Once I have the links done, I want to copy them over to the next 3 columns then use find and replace to change the name of the customer spreadsheet. However when I copy it copies the formatting to. I have conditional formatting on most of the cells that read something like this Cell value is greater than or equalt to =+$K$11+$L$13 and cell value is less than or equal to =+$K$11-$L$13. It took me a long time going back and forth making the reference cells absolute or relative depending on whether I was copying the formatting down rows or across columns. If I copy the links then all my conditional formatting has to be redone as find and replace does not look in conditional formatting. It would make my life much easier if I could just paste the links. Values does not work as I want the link.

If I understand your problem you should Paste Link again, there is no reason why a formula cannot be linked to cell that is already linked to another cell. The formatting should not be carried over.

          Hope I understood the problem

          regards,

            Thanks,

Don’t know why when I tried to copy the formula before it didn’t work, but it is now.

From your description, I am not sure what you are trying to do. If you are trying to paste the formula in the cell with a link to another sheet without changing the cell’s format, then what you want to do is Paste Formulas.
