I noticed a quirk on my Win 10 install. I have files on a key that I back up on a hard drive. When I copy from key to drive, it says I have the file already there, I choose compare info, and it shows unknown file, 0 bytes for the file I am copying. That is weird.

Can you copy to a different location on the hard drive?

it shows unknown file, 0 bytes for the file I am copying.

Could the key be in a format which Windows doesn’t recognize? Eg other than NTFS or FAT.

      Lugh.
