I have a toolbar which I place on intranet Word docs.

It is a text box holding three control buttons (Back, print form, email form). Each button runs a macro when clicked and the macros are stored in the “ThisDocument” folder of the Project folder. The buttons are in a text box so that I can prevent the toolbar from printing when the “print form” button is clicked.

My problem is that, although I can copy the text box and buttons from the master document and paste it into the new document, the macros do come with the paste. Consequently I have to enter all the macros for each button.

I have tried inserting the file containing the buttons into the new document and also inserting as an object but no luck.

    Any ideas please?

When I have had to solve problems like this I have done it the other way round. Make a copy of the document with the Macros and Toolbar, delete the old text and copy in the correct text. Save it as the new document.
