• Copy Rules (Outlook 2000)

Anyone know of a way to copy an Outlook e-mail rule and make it available to other users? Rather than use Outlook’s Junk Mail and Adult Content rules, we’re attempting to create rules based on the same types of items, but changeable by the individual to tailor to their needs. I’ve searched the lounge, but haven’t run across anything on this subject, but am hoping someone knows if it’s possible, and if so how! Thanks.

      Hi Karnie,
At the bottom of the rules screen is a button labelled Options….
Click on this and you will get options to Export (& Import) rules. Use the Export to save to say your C:Temp, e-mail the file to anothe user, have them save this to say C:Temp, then they Import from there. HTH

You can use BBCodes to format your content.
Your account can't use all available BBCodes, they will be stripped before saving.
