• Cookies in Edge vs. Internet Explorer

I am using windows 10 and generally like it (also liked 7). Is there any way to block specific cookies in edge as in IE? It seems that Edge will only allow one to minimize cookies by accepting third party cookies only. Why did Microsoft leave out such a vital function in Edge. I may have to go back to IE explorer 11. A shame that one cannot control cookies as before. Bill

I think you meant blocking third party cookies only.

I have upgraded to Windows 10 and am using IE11 as my default browser at this time
However I plan on switching to EDGE after April’s Windows Update

      Picking up the cookies part
I’m used to using the Internet Options to override automatic cooking handling in which it’s possible to block third party cookies but allow session cookies.

In the EDGE browser Don’t block cookies is the default
But then block only third party cookies can be selected
Either choice is all or nothing
How is that safer than blocking third party cookies but allowing session cookies?

BTW, I also use CCleaner for cookie control

I’ll be leaving EDGE’s default cookie settings as they are
I believe holdum333 is correct about not worrying about cookies
I keep my computer safe and secure and practice good habits

But there is an additional cookie question I have
      Many times I see
“Cookies help us deliver our services. By using our services, you agree to our use of cookies, Learn more Got it”
Is there a way to stop those notices?

Some adblockers will apparently do so: Disable ALL cookie warnings and hints
