Converting Word 97 docs to HTML (97/SR2)

I used the ‘save as HTML’ feature to convert a word file to HTML. I find that I am using Dream weaver to reformat the whole thing. Is there a more efficient approach to this process??

It is so tedious!

Have a look at HTML Tidy

I have used it to cleanup W97 docs before and it does a decent job of cleaning them up.

Tho only downside is that it’s a command line program (IOW DOS)

I’ll put in another vote for HTML tidy. It really cleans up the MS bloated HTML that is generated by MS aps.
