The Analysis Toolpak add-in contains a HEX2DEC conversion function. If the text file can be imported into Excel such that the hexadecimal numbers are in a column, you can use this function. Say that the hexadecimal numbers are in A1:A10. In B1, enter the formula =HEX2DEC(A1) and fill down to B10.
