I would like to be able to convert a column of Eastern Std. Time entries to Pacific Std. Time (or Daylight — doesn’t matter) using a formula that I can duplicate down the column with RELATIVE values. I know that I can enter =”19:00″-“3:00” (19:00 is EST, 3:00 is the difference between EST and PST) and have the result show 16:00, but then duplicating down doesn’t take into account the different times in the EST column. What formula can I use?

If the times are in column A, starting in row 1, then put the formula below in row 1 of an empty column and copy down as far as necessary.

      =A1-TIME(3,0,0)

Legare — Many thanks. I’d tried the help menu and it didn’t seem to be there. I would never have thought of the “TIME(3,0,0)” part of the formula!
