I am working on a conversion project for one of user, the County Librarian. She’s converting to Office 2007 from QuatroPro. I know that’s quite a conversion, but it must be done. I am able to save the files in QuatroPro as an Excel 2003 spreadsheet. However, when the spreadsheet is opened in Excel 2007 no gridlines appear even though the view for gridlines is on, and gridlines were also on in QuatroPro. The only way I’ve found that I can put lines on, but then the special lines in the spreadsheets are removed. Does that make sense. It’s like there’s a background super imposed over the gridlines in Office. I hope someone has some ideas on this one because I’m fresh out!

It is very likely the cells have a white fill. Select the cells and change the fill color to no fill.

You are so right. Thanks, Why didn’t I think of that? Guess I didn’t even consider that there was a fill. I tried background, but fill was it. Thanks again ever so much, you are the best!
