    Can you set up control buttons on an excel sheet where a person can select many from a list? Right now if you select one the other is turned off. Or, is a check box the correct option to use in this case.

      If you want the user to be able to select multiple options, use check boxes. If the options are mutually exclusive, use radio buttons. This is the “standard” in Windows interface design.

          There are two sets of controls you can use in a worksheet: from the Forms toolbar and from the Control Toolbox. Both sets contain a check box and a radio button. See screenshot.
