I want to draw an organization chart. Under a manager’s box, there are several sub-ordinates in one column. Each sub-ordinate is linked to the manager using an elbow connector. The problem is that the horizontal lines of the “elbows” are not aligned right under the manager’s box. I can manually drag the lines up, but not always successful. Sometimes, it’s very difficult to align. Any suggestions ?

in theory, if you press the Alt key when moving objects you can move things exactly where you want.

It looks as though the elbow connectors can’t be aligned in the way that other graphical objects can be.

You could also try leaving the line out totally and creating your own line with the line tool.
