Patch reliability is unclear. Unless you have an immediate, pressing need to install a specific patch, don't do it. |
My wife and I both use Word 98. Her application has an annoying feature that every time she highlights more than a few characters to either delete or overwrite she gets a prompt on the bottom toolbar that asks “Confirm Block Delete Y/N” to which she must enter “Y” before proceeding. My installation of Word doesn’t do this. I searched every config option that I can see in order to turn this feature off, but cannot see anything relevant.
Any thoughts on where the hidden switch might be?
