My Epson scanner came with software by Adobe called PhotoDeluxe Business Edition. I installed it on my Windows XP computer to have the Adobe Writer that is included in the program. After installing it I found out that XP does not support the present version of Adobe Writer and there are no upgrades. I uninstalled the program but did not remove any shared files. My programs i.e. Word 2002 has a menu item to print to a PDF file. Can anyone tell me where the file is located that placed that menu item in Word? Where would I look for the files in the other parts of Office XP? Thanks for your help.

File name is probably pdfmaker.dot or adobemaker.dot or similar, and located in
      c:Program FilesMicrosoft Officeofficestartup
or, if you install Office in different folder, in that folder.
Delete it, or rename it with .old or .rem or whatever extension, and restart Office.
