Do so at your own (great) risk and buyer beware!

We use a Lexmark E322 at work. The person responsible for the supplies says the she would just as soon stick with Lexmark toner. She has tried ‘compatible’ and ‘refilled’ toner with mixed results – fewer pages, legibility issues. She feelds it is not worth the inconsistency.

About 2 years back I tried a local refill service for HP toner cartridges, but I didn’t like it. Far less pages could be printed, so the price per page wasn’t that much lower than buying a new original cartridge. And I had my doubts about the quality of the prints. So it was a one time experience.

I’ve neen using a local firm http://www.lasernetworks.com/%5B/url%5D for about 6 years.
      I phone them before noon.
Before 9am the next day there is a knock at my door; nice man with box, cartridge etc.
He’ll take the old cartrdidge(s), as many as I can find.
The invoice comes a week or so later.
      I pay it.
      Life goes on.

If the cartridges weren’t any good, I’d not be doing this.

It’s a HP Laserjet 4L, rather old (like me!), 4 pages per minute B/W.
I’m surprised that the cartridges are still available.

What do you think the nice man who collects your empty cartridges does with them?!

Well, judging by the comments in this thread, he sells them to other Lounge members who, presumably, throw them away in disgust (grin!).

I know that they are refurbished, refilled etc.
I had assumed that naturall attrition would have reduced the HP4JL cartridge population to below a critical mass.
I’ve had the printer for over 10 years, i think.

Merci, guess I’ll stick with original cartridges.
