I have a folder on my home computer that I wish to sync with my office computer. The two are mostly synced but I appear to have overlooked a few files. I do not have remote access to my office computer. We are talking about 10,000 files taking up over 1TB of space so it is a lot of files and a lot of space, too much to do manually. Any suggestions?

I would use Team viewer (free) to connect and Sync Toy (by Microsoft) to sync the folders. Since Sync toy can sync in either direction it offers flexibility and since it only moves the files that are different makes it fast.

I use it for a 3 TB folder over a 10Mb connection with no problems.

Check out Bittorrent Sync: http://www.bittorrent.com/sync It will sync files between systems across the internet. I keep several folders synced between my desktop and laptop with it and it works great.
