I am using a combo box to look up data on my forms. It works fine except it doesnt show the names in the combo box in alphabetical order. If I enter “J” it doesnt give me all the “J”s just one.

    Any help??

Create a query that sorts the names in ascending order, and set the Row Source of the combo box to the name of this query.

You probably want to use a query as the data source of your combo box. Click the builder button to the right of the Row Source and it will bring up the QBE grid for queries. In the query, tell it to sort by the names, and then close the QBE grid. It will ask if you want to save it – say yes and you will now have a query string as the Row source.
