      There is no built-in support for that. You’d have to program it yourself. I’m afraid you won’t find examples of that easily, if at all.

      Recognizing that this will have a 256 row limitation, I suggest that the best approach would be:

      • Copy the range of interest;
      • Create a new sheet or workbook.
      • In the new object, pulldown Edit>Paste Special
      • Select: Values; None; and Transpose
        [/list]Now filtering on the rows will yield the same results (transposed), as would be achieved by filtering on columns in the original worksheet.

        H.T.H.

        Hi Don

        Thanks for the suggestion, a good work around.
        However, I am looking for an almost similar way like the filter built-in function that Excel offer, something like ” horizontal filter “.

          There is no such feature, I’m afraid.

            Hi Hans

            Thanks. Its would be more efficient to have this feature as well. Not sure if 2007 version have something simliar to it given that the columns have
            expanded.

            regards, francis

              I don’t have Excel 2007, but as far as I know this feature hasn’t been added. I don’t think it will be added in a future version, but who knows…

          One has to ask why it is necessary to have the table oriented in a manner that requires column filtering.
