      Thanks for this one, and, no, MS is not going to back down on TPM or higher level cpus. People may find ways around them but unless they are very careful I think it is unwise. Have a good holiday season!

      Thank you for your article. In future articles can you define the acronyms such as
      TPM, MSU, MFA and others?

        TPM – trusted platform module – a specific chip that has to be on new computers in order to get Windows 11

        MSU – is the file type you get with windows updates and other updates – it stands for Microsoft Update Standalone Installer Package

        MFA – multi factor authentication – in addition to a password it’s a text message or an authentication number you have to add to authenticate to a site
