On one of our user’s PCs, when you view clipart in the task pane, the images are all icons – they are wmv files. On my pc, the images show as thumbnails, even the wmv files. Where is the setting to allow her to see thumbnail views instead of icons?

What is the setting in My Documents for this folder, Icons or Thumbnail?

What folder? I don’t know where you want me to look. In My Documents there is a My Pictures folder, but that’ not where it’s pulling clip art from. I am looking in the task pane at the clip art thumbnails on my computer.

Open the Task Pane, then click on Organize Clips. In the Clip Organizer select View, Thumbnails.

Yeah.. I did that already. It doesn’t change the way they display in the task pane – only in the organizer pane. I’m using Office 2003, and the help I’ve found from Microsoft is only for Office 2007. I’m still digging around trying to find something. Thanks for the suggestion.

I found the answer. I found a KB article that says this is an issue that was fixed in Office 2003 SP2. So. thanks for your suggestions!
