    I have never understood why there is a separate chart tag on the Toolsoptions menu. If there are no charts in the workbook most of the parameters are greyed out apart from tips and value. If you do have an active chart the Chart menu appears, of course, but you still have to go to the separate Toolsoptionschart menu to get useful stuff associated with plotting values and sizing charts with the window. Why can

      Rightclick the chart, choose Chart types, click the Custom types Tab, select “User defined”, click “Add”, enter a name, press OK, click “Set as default chart”. Now next time you create a chart, it should be this one.
