    Is it possible and what is the easiest way, if possible, to create charts from more than one workbook? Or are you better off creating one workbook that has the data linked to it?

      Just make your chart with the data coming from different workbooks and then click the series and position the mouse pointer in the editbox, then enter CTRL-ALT-F9 to make your data independent of the workbooks.
