    Hi all,

Not sure if this goes in Access or in Excel

My client has an MS Access application that calls MS Excel and then process a spreadsheet to create a chart. The problem is that the data points are bunched on the left side of the chart, not distributed as illustrated in the attachment. This problem has just begun within the past 3 weeks, according to the client. Any and all suggestions are welcome. TIA.

This probably means that the scale for the x axis (category axis) is not correct. Does it help if you set the minimum and maximum scale to automatic?

      Hi Hans,

I’m not sure how or where to set those.

Double-click the x-axis, or click once on the x-axis and select Format | Selected axis, then activate the Scale tab.

I think I found where to set the scale. The problem is finding the chart before it is output as a pdf. This will take some time. Thanks for the suggestion.
