• Changeing links to large video clip (2000)

I have inserted a large video clip (~20 MB) into a PowerPoint presentation. Instead of storing the video clip in the .ppt file, PowerPoint maintains a link to the file (which is fine), but when I move the .ppt and video file to another PC (to give the presentation), the link is wrong. Is there an easy way to modify the link – writing VBA is OK if necessary – so that I can play the clip without having to re-insert in the .ppt in the destination PC?

    Thanks!

To create a relative link, simply put the video clip in the folder where the PPT file lives *before* inserting the clip into PPT.

Then when you burn the PPT file and video clip to CD, burn them to the root of the CD (don’t put them in a folder), and the link will work properly. It seems weird, but it does work.
