Is there any way to change windows 10 desktop icon text color to black? I tried some workarounds but nothing works – not even the “select Orange” workaround. Unbelievable that MS defaults their  windows 10 desktop icon to black. 🙁

The only way I can find that way to change the icon text color is to set the desktop background as a solid color.

As an example, Select Black in the preexisting color palette, and then click on + Custom Color.

Adjust the value slider greater than or equal to 51 for black icon text, less than or equal to 50 will create white text.

Selecting Orange in the custom palette and adjusting the value slider to 95 or greater will change the icon text to black, 94 or less will make the text white.

When a picture is used the color of the icon text cannot be changed as Windows 10 decides this for itself.
